About Charles
Charles Hooper has been building web applications since the 8th grade. After high school he joined the Air Force and honed his troubleshooting skills on complex aircraft weapon systems while also learning to work as part of a team and support a mission that was larger than himself. After the military, Charles worked for an ISP managing a 24×7 datacenter environment and improved user experience by developing policies and procedures to increase system availability. At the last startup he worked at, Charles was responsible for optimizing applications and databases and anything else that would make things “go faster.”
Charles is on his final year of school before he obtains a B.S. in Business Information Systems. Outside of regular academics, Charles independently studies business, finance, and web operations management. His skill set includes troubleshooting complex systems, process automation, and fluency in several programming languages including Python and PHP.
Fun Fact: Charles Hooper is included in both Google’s Security Hall of Fame and Microsoft’s Security Researcher Acknowledgements page.
